Elle est née le 31 mars 1924 à Sturgeon Falls. Elle est la sixième des filles d'Albert and Oliva.
Après la deuxième guerre mondiale, elle a rencontré un ancien soldat, Guy Sabourin. Ils se sont mariés à Sturgeon à la paroisse du Sacré Coeur le 12 octobre 1948. Ils se sont installés à Chelmesford près de Sudbury en Ontario où ils résident encore aujourd'hui. Marcelle et Guy sont les parents de six enfants: Gisele, Gaston, Denis, Diane, Marc and Yvon.
She was born on March 31st 1924 in Sturgeon Falls, the sixth daughter of Albert and Oliva. After World War II, she met an ex-soldier, Guy Sabourin. They were married in Sturgeon at the parish of the Sacred Heart on October 12th 1948. They went to live in Chelmesford near Sudbury, Ontario where they still reside today. Marcelle and Guy raised six children together: Gisele, Gaston, Denis, Diane, Marc and Yvon.
