On January 2, 1929, he married Alice Lanthier, the daughter of Pierre and Helen Kingsley. They were married at St. David's in Noëlville. Adrien and Alice had 3 children, Jean Paul, Gertrude and Jean Claude. Adrien passed away June 18, 1978 and Alice on December 29, 1986. They are both buried in St David's cemetery in Noëlville, Ontario.
His son, Jean Paul writes:
A few words about my father, Adrien. He was a patient, gentil and devoted who worked hard most of his life, especially his years on the farm. Although his four brothers worked their lands together, he always took on the most difficult tasks.
Before his marriage and after he stopped working on the farm, he was a fishing and hunting guide to American tourists visiting the Lake Nipissing and French River region.
In his latter years, before retiring, he worked on highway maintenance in the summer and snow removal in the winter.
